Extrudalizer is a powerful script that allows you to extrudalize any shape in After Effects. With just a few clicks, you can turn any shape into a 3D object that reflects all of your animation and expression keyframes.

One of the most exciting features of Extrudalizer is that it allows you to animate the origin shape path. This means that the Extrudalized shape will reflect all of the animation or expression keyframes you have set for that path. For example, you can rig several paths in an IK rig, and once Extrudalized, you will have a 3D IK rig that reflects all of your animation.

<aside> ❗ IMPORTANT - if you are animating the Origin Shape and the number of vertices changes during various points in your animation, you must find the specific time during which your Origin Shape has the maximum number of vertices, and Extrudalize the shape at that point in your timeline. This way, the Extrudalizer will create sides for every facet of your shape. This is a result of After Effects limitation - the Expression engine does not allow you to add new shapes to a layer, while you can manipulate existing one.

Another great use for Extrudalizer is to morph a path from one shape to another. The extruded shape will reflect all of the morphing, allowing you to create stunning 3D animations that were once impossible.

Using Extrudalizer is easy. Simply select the shape you want to Extrudalize, and apply the script. You can then adjust the extrusion depth and bevel settings to get the look you want.

Extrudalizer will take your After Effects projects to the next level. Whether you want to create a 3D IK rig or morph a shape from one form to another, Extrudalizer is the tool for you.
